Pricing questions.

What counts as an email?
Each recipient of a message you send. A message to one person counts as one; a message with two people in to and one in cc counts as three. Bcc recipients count too. Usage resets on the first of each month, UTC.
Does inbound mail count?
No. Only mail you send counts toward your monthly emails. Receiving into your inboxes is not metered, on any plan.
What happens if I go over?
On Free, sending stops at 3,000 emails until the first of next month, and the API answers with monthly_send_limit_reached and the date it resets. On paid plans, usage past what is included will be charged as overage: $1 a month for each extra inbox and $0.80 per 1,000 extra emails. Nothing is charged today, because billing has not launched.
Can I change plans?
Paid plans activate when billing launches, so every account starts on Free today. When billing launches, upgrading keeps everything you have: inboxes, domains, keys and mail.
What are the free plan limits?
3 inboxes, 3,000 emails a month and 3 custom domains, with no card. New accounts also send up to 100 emails a day for their first 7 days, which protects our sending IPs. Every limit error says exactly what to do next.
What about my data and privacy?
There are no third party analytics or trackers in the site, the dashboard or the API. Message bodies are read only by your own keys and agents. API key secrets are shown once and stored hashed.
